Remembering Max

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we share the news that EDO artist, and friend, Max Martelli has lost his battle with a brain tumor and passed away late last year.

I always loved seeing Max at Illuxcon. He always had a big smile and, I don’t know another way to put this, he was filled with light. Fun, funny, and you could just see the fire he had inside to create and the love he had for his community, friends, and his wife Amelia.

I loved being near his energy and I know many who may read this felt the same. I, and all of us, will miss him.

Today would have been his wife, Amelia’s day on EDO.

Instead we would like to share her GoFundme to cover both funeral costs and the slew of new bills she will now be handling without Max. Many of us rely on our partnerships to keep going both creatively and financially. I like to think that our community can step in during difficult times like this.
