Oh, to be a little Clown Dragon, high up in the sky…

These little clown fish dragons were my very first try at creature design nearly two years ago, and I’m always happy to explore them further.

Here, I wanted to show them playful and carefree, with just a hint of the hapless look that’s so charming about all the fish dragon designs – we all could use a peaceful moment, after all.

Painted on a round wooden panel (7.8″ diameter, 0.35″ depth) in acrylics, with a satin varnish.
