The Secret of the Forest

by Evelyne Park

“The Secret of the Forest” are the countless little lives of animals, plants, and mushrooms, expressed as colorful patterns the forest spirit guards.

I still remember seeing my first Ghibli movie – Mononoke-Hime – and becoming completely enthralled with the mood and art, as if the forest had grown roots in me. This is my little tribute to both the movie and nature itself.

Painted in acrylics on 320 gsm acid free, 100% cotton and recycled Khadi paper. As the edges are uncut deckle edges, this comes unframed.
