This piece is an 8″ by 10″ oil and acrylic painting on board. It comes with a white metal frame with the outer dimensions of 10.5″ by 12.5″.

This is the last fairy in my series of seasonal fairies, the winter fairy! I wanted to continue experimenting with my underpainting techniques and have a monochrome color scheme.

Makenna Karp

Makenna Karp is a fantasy illustrator and oil painter specializing in illustrations for board games and book covers.

Commencing her formal art education at Pratt Institute in 2019, Makenna took a different path after a year, immersing herself in traditional painting and drawing at Watts Atelier from 2021 to 2023.

Currently, she calls northern California home. When she's not painting, she can be found climbing rocks or wandering through the redwoods.
