Weathering

This work explores the experience of perseverance during periods of hardship. It reflects the emotional landscape of feeling worn down by circumstance while continuing forward nonetheless. Rather than focusing on victory or resolution, the piece lingers in the space where endurance itself becomes the defining act.

Movement through adversity is often quiet and uncelebrated. It happens in small, stubborn steps taken despite uncertainty, fatigue, and resistance. Resilience is not dramatic heroism, but the steady decision to continue when stopping might seem easier.

At its heart, the painting reflects a deeply human truth: that progress is sometimes less about hope or confidence, and more about the quiet determination to keep going.
