What we have here is an oil painting on hand marbleized wood panel, in a spectacular frame I’ve been saving for the right one. This is the right one.
The marbleizing process consists of swirling oil based enamel paint (1 Stroke lettering enamel.) in a tub of borax infused water at 78º, and giving the sealed wooden panel a bath in the solution. After that the painting is rendered with oil paint.
