KING HEDGEHOG

I’m thrilled to share my painting, KING HEDGEHOG, from my ongoing Animal Kingdom series!

I think it’s fascinating how hedgehogs are viewed so differently across cultures. In Europe, they’re seen as wise little workers, while in ancient Egypt, they represented protection and rebirth. Interestingly, European folklore sometimes paints them as mystical creatures linked to witches, yet many cultures, like those in China and Egypt, celebrate them for bringing good fortune and even immortality!

This delightful 8” x 8” acrylic artwork is painted on a wood panel and comes ready to hang, adding a cheerful touch to any space. I also sign each original Animal Kingdom piece in gold on the side. Enjoy bringing this enchanting creature into your home!
