Kenai Fjords Series – Tufted Puffin
Original Art by Brenda Lyons
The second in my Kenai Fjords bird series, featuring the birds of Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska. I’m in the park nearly every day for my summer job on a wildlife and glacier boat, and this time of year is breeding season for tufted puffins. They have colorful beaks in the summer and can be seen flying to and from their burrow nests in the grass up in the cliffs.
Gouache on black cardstock, 8X10 inches. This piece comes ready to hang with a black frame.
