Ripping away the fabric of lies

by Dianita

To close the year, I decided to honor my own progress this year. I mean, I’m not a super woman, I’m not perfect nor I intend to be. I just hope that I’ve learned something new about myself and feel that I keep changing for the best.

This piece talks about ripping away the ideas that other people put in our head. The violent dialogue that makes us afraid to look ahead. We wear the lies as if it was a heavy cape fused with our skin and only by tearing the apart we can break free.

Existing in imperfection, chaotic, confused… but free.
