This Watch

Like a handful of other portrait subjects that I’ve painted, I could paint this guy’s face all day. I’ve done a number of sketches of Christopher Walken over the years, but this is the first time I’ve gone all paint. Another favorite scene from Tarantino’s masterpiece Pulp Fiction – and although it’s essentially a cameo appearance, Walken steals the show.

Bud Cook

Bud Cook is a painter whose strong command of the human figure is at the root of his illustrative and fine art work. His keen study of life yields a cleverly abstracted and stylized realism.
