The Hierophant

The Hierophant represents the balance between the conscious and unconscious minds. Often a symbol of a religious leader, he is the male counterpart to The High Priestess, and represents authority and commands respect. Roses have long been a symbol of monarchy as well as the marriage between power and faith.
