The Descending Sun

This is a part of my micro paintings I have been doing.  Little tiny powerful pieces from beautiful lighting or color harmonies that don’t need any details to explain themselves.  This is certainly appealing to the colorist side of me and my need to escape into the wild whenever possible, even if it is only into a canvas that I can escape for the moment.

The Descending Sun is 4.25″ x 2.25″ oil on board (5″ x 3″) with board boarder.
