Something different for a change, instead of my usual Middle Eastern paintings I am offering a Japanese themed picture as they have proved very popular since I started painting them earlier this year. This is also something of a first in that it is based around a Midjourney AI piece that I have started to use as a composition generator. I am using the program to come up with images that can trigger an idea for a painting or something that I can adapt, in this case it was adapt as I have introduced a stormy sea and rocks at the bottom as well as a completely redrawn temple… on redrawn rocks.
