Skull Study

It won’t come as a surprise to most that I love drawing skulls and tentacles. I think it’s because I find them so challenging.
The range of textures makes them very difficult to render so I’m constantly exploring subtle changes in technique to create the look I’m going for.
These studies are really important steps in the creation larger pieces down the road.
