Red Queen

“No man or beast can be found in her kingdom, they all fled long ago. Now her only subjects are the trees.”

This piece was based on a dream I had while on the road at a convention back in May. I did a sketch of her in my Moleskine sketchbook right away.
I loved her so much I wanted to do a more refined piece and explore the composition a bit. Now I feel like I may do a larger painting of her.

I’ll also include a small print of the original sketch.
