“Elgara”
Ancient Forest Fae
Elgara is the last of a forgotten race of forest Fae. Her kin were reclusive beings that lived alone deep in primeval forests. Her greatest joy is to listen to the song of a tree, or the poetry recited by a stone, or the stories shared by a small brook.
Elgara can sit still for years, listening to the natural world, gaining deep knowledge and insight. She is the custodian of the forest she inhabits. She protects the life-energy of nature and maintains its balance.
She tends to both growth and decay with equal attention. Her race doesn’t die or fade like other beings. Instead, her kind slowly become part of the forest.
Elgara is especially fond of the tiny frogs live on her head. It is the frogs that keep her young. These frogs sing silly songs of love every spring that bring her joy and laughter.
