The reference for this piece was photographed on the Orangekloof Nature Walk in Constantia, South Africa. Whenever I walk these woods I stop and think, who was there before me, how many times were these paths travelled… and how long ago was it anointed with it’s first foreign footstep? I feel sure, that there is a veil that hides a world around me rich with watchers and waiters that have witnessed all of us pass them by.
