Taking inspiration from the masters, Frank Frazetta, Manuel Sanjulian and Enrich Torres, I tried to capture a bit of the OG style with a limited color palette to lean into the vintage look. The cahracter Vampirella originally hails from the planet Drakulon, a world where blood flows like water and where the natives, called the Vampiri, share traditionally vampiric characteristics. Her first appearance was in 1969, Vampirella #1 cover painted by Frank Frazetta.
