This shadowbox is the 3rd piece in my series of insect miniatures, and each little picture has it’s own hand-painted frame.
The theme was inspired by a fellow nature-lover’s story she shared with me, and is reminiscent of the lakes and hollows I adventured in as a kid. With the last days of summer at hand, I wanted to capture the moment while there’s still life buzzing in the air.
