I love the mythological aspect of the Oracle. They are often depicted as some character or creature that incorporates the feminine and are at once both nurturing and potentially dangerous. My Oracle is enthralled with the Vision and does not seek to harm…though harm may come to the petitioner through the knowing of their future.

This is an oil on Arches Oil Paper and a study for a large painting. She is 8 x 10″ and comes unframed.
