What can be more fun to paint than dragons? Blue and gold being one of my favorite palettes, this one was exceptionally intriguing with his very toothy maw. Painted in oils on an 11″x14″ board.
This painting was started in July while selling my artwork at Evermore Park, an immersive LARP experience with quests, goblins, dragons, and much more. This year’s season of Mythos being the Dragon Lantern festival, painting a dragon live there was very fitting.
