Modern sorcerers often have a house sphinx for a pet. While not as ferocious nor as intelligent as their larger, wilder, cousins, they still offer their owner many benefits. They can gather books and materials, take dictation, and provide simple companionship.

Dan Cohen is a classically trained painter, sculptor and muralist. His work has been shown at galleries and events around the world – and on many buildings and walls.
