As February ends, Spring is already in full swing in Northern California. I went for a walk recently, a bit amazed by all the trees in full bloom and the wildflowers that can be seen in big patches, and from that walk sprung this image.

Randy Gallegos

Randy has worked professionally as a visual artist since 1994, getting his start and most lasting visibility in Magic: the Gathering, for which he continues working today, resulting in one of the longest tenures as an illustrator on the celebrated game.

Apart from his work there, he has devoted considerable time in recent years to gallery work that spans traditional landscape and still life, to figurative personal work and a series of still life art celebrating the history of video game hardware.
