Dreamer

“Dreamer” is a piece that I created back in 2018. Many life changing things happened to me that year, and with that, I had many opportunities to learn and be aware of realities of other people in the world.

I’ve come to embrace monarch butterflies in my art as a symbol of movement. And here they represent just that. Movement, transition, migration. It’s a natural happening in nature. “Dreamer” was inspired by that movement, often led by dreams of a better reality and a chance for a future.

Additional information

This drawing was created with pencils on a Moleskine artbook with off white pages, almost cream color. The final measure will be 5in x 7in with a curved corner on the top/right (original Moleskine paper design).

It will include a white mat, board (8in x 10in) and will come with a clear plastic bag. It will be shipped flat.

Colors might be different in person (due to ambient light).
