“Barn Swallow” by Leah Mitchell

Barn-Swallow-Leah-Mitchell-18x18-oil-on-canvas

Original Art by Leah Mitchell

Painted in 2022, in this 18×18 oil painting (framed) a young woman turns, glances over her shoulder, has she caught sight of something just out of view or heard a faint strain of music coming from another room? Caught between moments a swallow hovers, ready to take a loose strand of a red curl to add to her nest.
