Early was the morning and many was the day that Mak the Yak toiled away.
He arose to carry this from here and that to there.
When he was young he moved fast, but when he got old, he moved slow.
He was a good friend and his family loved him so.
After many years Mak was set free,
for his labors were complete.
As he moved into the great mountains his light softly shone
and with his one good eye he turned to look upon his family’s home.
And with a low moo,
he rose into the sky
and joined the great herds,
as all good creatures do.
