Remnants: Tranquility

“I had that dream again.
The one where I could have sworn I felt the wind
as it shifted off the water.
The sun began to warm the distant slopes
and light the tops of nearby trees.
I had that dream again,
where I felt completely free.”

Remnants is a series of landscapes with dragons painted on coffee stained paper with only black and white paint. The sepia tones and textures are meant to feel like an ancient aged painting or perhaps even an old photo or memory from another time and place. Each paper is hand stained which means every painting has a unique textural background.
