This painting was produced for The Woven Path, a tarot deck group project with The Changeling Artist Collective. The deck is inspired by medieval tapestry — a strong source of inspiration to me. I get a kick out of astrology, mostly because I match my own sign — Taurus — so directly. But I had a lot of fun learning about Leo and fire signs for this. Leo is beautiful and passionate and powerful and proud and maybe a little vain. Leos are A Lot. I wanted to communicate the radiance and joy of that power and maybe a little bit of the danger as well.
Painting is 8 x 14 inches. Comes matted but not framed.
