Another smaller scale study: my first in a few months since getting back to painting post new baby and job! I love how low pressure these are, and I can just enjoy the process instead of needing to make a “perfect” painting. And I love drawing wispy swirly smoke!

Amber recently decided to pursue illustration full-time after a lifetime of drawing and painting as a hobbyist. She loves to paint figures in surreal scenes, heavily inspired by a childhood of anime and fantasy.
Outside of art, Amber likes to dabble in ceramics and other crafty hobbies, play video and tabletop games, read fantasy novels, and chase her two year old around the house.
