Mar (they/them) is a Boston-based nonbinary watercolor illustrator.
Through the medium of watercolors, Mar paints vibrant, dreamlike scenes highlighting the euphoria and turbulence of the queer, nonbinary experience. Colorful and bordering psychedelic, their work explores the queer identity through a telescopic lens- envisioning far-off celestial bodies, a swirling technicolor cosmos, and magical fey realms.
