Wanderstar

by Michelle Hunt

Celestial bodies, locked into their dances, only have brief moments where they get to share the sky together. The Sun and the Moon tenderly meet at twilight, the Moon kissing the Sun goodbye until they see each other again.

Sun and Moon motifs are common in Michelle’s work, as she has always been fascinated with the connections between celestial bodies. Personifications of these cosmic entities, whether they be gods or zodiacs or some other form, have long held a special interest for her.

This piece measures 5″x7″ and is watercolor painted on 100% cotton paper. It comes with backing and packed in a protective sleeve, unframed.
