The Shawl

The shawl is an essential piece of clothing for women throughout the world. From infant carrier to shroud the shawl serves many purposes as well as utilizing beautifully woven fabrics to enhance the wearer. I wanted to paint the textures and feel of being wrapped in a shawl, warm and snug and so utterly feminine.
