The Heralds

My first drawing of the year is a continuation of my drawing talismans for the heart. Many of us had a trying time last year and I wanted to create a symbol of positive change that we make look forward to. Snakes have been known for their representation of transformation, rebirth, and healing. In order to find that place we must first look to ourselves. Some would say it is based in our emotions and feelings which is ruled by our moon. And lastly, gold protects.
The drawing is 6″ x 6″ and framed, 8″ x 8″.

Stephanie Inagaki
A Southern California native, Stephanie Inagaki received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Boston University's College of Fine Arts and her Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the San Francisco Art Institute. She is a multifaceted artist, also working as a metalsmith and owner of Miyu Decay Jewelry, living in Los Angeles.
