Teinopalpus aureus
on a gold leaf (23.5Kt) circuit board background
framed by oxidised silver leaf.
Size is 12.5cm by 8cm. It will fly to you with its mount with an oval window and ready to be framed!
The colours are gouache but the very bright green colour is my own plant pigment Althea syriaca (stabilized against UV by Plextol resin) and the yellow is hazelnut lake.
This piece will totally be happy under an anti UV glass to preserve the colours over a loooong time, those are strong pigments.
