Renewal

Renewal is a 7″x10″ mixed-media painting, created with the Lunar New Year in mind – for 2025, the Year of the Snake. This made me think of how in some myths and folklore, snakes having divine healing properties, and being depicted as symbols of renewal, and rejuvenation. Renewal is done primarily in acrylic, with gold ink accents, and will be shipped framed and ready to hang.

While she finds inspiration in everyday life and occurrences, her biggest influences have been mythology, folklore, literature, psychology and the natural world. She works primarily with mixed media using ink, acrylic washes, and colored pencil.
