As I said on her other piece, I met Carly early on and I become more fascinated with her work as she developed her signature style. Her bold and painterly approach accentuates the expression on the figure in this piece. Almost like it’s closing in, surprise, not fear. This is a theme in my life, maybe all of ours. To be caught up in things, to seek reflection, to expect the unexpected.

And a reminder. Every sale from this small collection, a portion will go back to the original artist and a portion will also help fund a small scholarship for an artist to join our Unleash Creativity community.
