Portrait, Growth I

This is a concept that I have been working with for quite a while now, but only in drawing form. This is one of my first steps into translating those ideas into color oil paintings.

The basic concepts I have been playing with in this series revolve around standards of beauty, along with infection, mutation, growth, and acceptance of the inevitable.
