“Golden”

I love color and painting this piece was a joy. Beginning with creating a textural surface with modeling paste I then painted a colorful abstract background. Dripping paint and playing with color the painting began to come to life. Then my subject matter began to take shape. Painting a golden tiger added just the right yellow and orange tones to enhance the background colors of purple and magenta. Golden Tigers are a beautiful color variant of the tiger species that also includes both white and black tigers.
