Every now and then, I start a piece of art and have to put it aside because of other art obligations. And sometimes, I lose the note about that piece – what story/words inspired it. This is one of those pieces. I had already created the pattern on the cover and cut the rose layers, however once I returned to it months later, I couldn’t remember what the inspiration was.
I am slightly obsessed with moons so I decided to add one and paint the night sky and add a little blue to the rose as well.
