My cabinet of curiosities : Owl

watercolor Owl cabinet of Curiosities by Sucharita Suri

Original Art by Sucharita Suri

This art is from my latest series My cabinet of curiosities. I love collecting unique unrelated things and spending hours just going through them. Be it walking around a natural history museum or vintage shops, the thrill of chancing upon something unexpected and unusual has always excited me. So in this series, I wish to bring together that uniqueness and element of surprise.

Sucharita Suri

I am Sucharita, an illustrator, graphic designer from Mumbai, India. I love to illustrate all sorts of things but 'whimsical paintings' have my heart. My world is full of magic, nature, fables, and fairytales. I am as much an illustrator as I am a graphic designer.
