Mr. Apple

This is a portrait of the charming and often insufferable Mr. Apple – a fine, crisp gentleman whose ego is not easily bruised. I wanted to try out a new painting surface and so picked up some Gessobord panels from the local art shoppe. Though smallish, this fruity fellow is my first adventure on the nicely textured boards. Mr. Apple is 6×6 acrylic on Gessobord.

Steve Prescott has been illustrating for fantasy and sci-fi games since the mid 90’s, working on products from such companies as White Wolf Games, FASA, Paizo, Blizzard, Animal Planet, Copenhagen Creators, and most notably for Wizards of the Coast where he has contributed heavily to both Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: the Gathering.
