Malum Malus

Malum Malus, or the Witch Apple, has been a subject I’ve long wanted to explore.
I love the idea of taking the forbidden fruit, and having it be a blessing to some, but a curse to others.
The painting is done in watercolor and gouache, and measures 6.5″ x 8.5″ in an 8×10 frame. It will also come with one of my little matching hand lampworked glass desk apples, as seen in the inside shot!
