Scent of Autumn
by Chiaki Akada
What do you feel and how can you tell when the season starts changing? In the late Summer, right before the temperatures get cooler, we feel there are some hints of Autumn. In the wind of the day, in the twilight, we cannot see or define, but let’s say there is the scent of Autumn. I like how season changes little by little, like invisible living things are telling that Autumn is right around the corner. Especially from Summer to Autumn, I feel emotional or nostalgic. I express those feeling in this [Scent of Autumn] . The fish are the ones telling Autumn. Their tails are changing its colors as changing to the next season, and the water bubbles in the bottom are the pieces of Summer. Not dramatically but slowly, the scent of Autumn gets sharp.
