Sandra Elderberry is an oil painter whose work is inspired by the worlds of high fantasy and myth. She lives and works in The Kingdom Of The Netherlands.
Since childhood, her heart has been captivated by The Lord of the Rings and the enchanting worlds of high fantasy games and films.
Sandra's paintings bring to life the heroic, the romantic, and the mystical, drawing viewers into enchanting realms. Her artistic journey has been shaped by the Old Masters such as John Singer Sargent, Joaquín Sorolla, Rembrandt van Rijn, Alphonse Mucha, Gustav Klimt, and the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, as well as contemporary artists.
Coming from a family with an artistic heritage-her grandfather was a painter-Sandra has honed her skills through workshops and courses from various artists. Her unique style blends direct observation with imagination, creating worlds that invite exploration and storytelling.
Sandra's paintings have found homes in many different countries, reflecting their universal appeal. She continues to draw inspiration from the enchanting worlds of high fantasy, myth, and the natural beauty around her.
Her goal is that art becomes more than an image-it becomes a world you long to explore, a story you wish to tell, and a memory that lingers in your heart.
