This is the third piece in my series of sky paintings. I started the base painting with multiple layers of acrylic paint and paint pens in order to get a more textured background.

Makenna Karp

Makenna Karp is a fantasy illustrator and oil painter specializing in illustrations for board games and book covers. Commencing her formal art education at Pratt Institute in 2019, Makenna took a different path after a year, immersing herself in traditional painting and drawing at Watts Atelier from 2021 to 2023. Currently, she calls northern California home. When she's not painting, she can be found climbing rocks or wandering through the redwoods.
