Griffins of the kind are hardly bigger blue tits themselves, yet their cat features make them dangerous hunters, which prey not only on insects and spiders but sometimes even attack voles. They can be met in forests, groves, parks, even in your own garden if is located far enough from the city noise. The creatures are not afraid of humans, so it is a common thing to find one napping on your shoulder or knee while you’ve been absorbed in reading sitting on a bench, and if you pet it along its back, probably it’ll start purring. Bluetit griffins often make friends with local cats, softly scratching their ears, cheeks and throats with their forepaws, carefully removing mites and fleas (yummy!), combing and cleaning their hair. While the procedure, the griffins collect fallen cat fur they use later for making soft warm nests inside tree holes with narrow enough entries, and protecting them from cold air leaks. Sometimes you can find bluetit griffin cubs among their cat-friend’s litter lying between newborn kittens and licking milk, the cat taking care of them just as of her own babies.
