Blue Moon Glow Dragon
Original Art by Nina Bolen
Blue water dragon portrait against waterfalls and a glowing moon backdrop. I painted this dragon as a companion piece to my lava dragon I painted last year.
8” x 8” acrylic painting on canvas with finished edges so it’s ready to hang on your wall or sits nicely on a table (crystals and props not included)
Painted with special UV reactive paint so part the painting glows in the dark after being charged with a UV flashlight or the sun.
Last images are showing the UV painting glowing but the longer you charge the paint the stronger the glowing effect will be.

About the Artist
Nina Bolen
My artwork explores the concept of fantasy worlds intertwined with the beauty of real wildlife and the natural world. I aim to capture the emotional nuances we experience when observing fantastical creatures or wildlife. By using bold colors and dynamic brushstrokes, I convey a sense of movement and energy. I choose watercolors, acrylics, or oils based on the mood I aim to achieve in my work. My goal is to evoke empathy and understanding in the viewer. I strive to show that there is beauty in all animals, including reptiles, which are often overlooked and not seen as appealing as other creatures. As a former zookeeper, I have a deep respect for all animals, but reptiles hold a special place in my heart. Having worked with animals for many years has definitely influenced my art.
