Yasmine Rana is a half Indian traditional artist from London, UK. She was born with cerebral palsy and has lived over half of her life with other chronic illnesses as well. These impact not only the subject matter of her work, but also how she paints, making each piece a unique puzzle to solve around her limitations.

Her work focuses on the cycle of life and disability through the symbolic visual language of nature. Her pop surrealist work tends to incorporate bright colours and layers of meaning, brought to life predominantly with oil and gouache paints.

When not painting, she can be found mushroom hunting in the woods, playing videogames with her partner, or reading fantasy novels and cuddling with her cat.
