3 Lucky stars

Something light and funny 🙂 I wanted to depart from my traditional illuminated drawings I usually post on EDO so… here are 3 small lucky stars!

They are made in papier maché and are painted with gouache on both sides with bright and colourful designs mainly inspired by russian khokhloma and protected by several layers of varnish. They are of course signed and look good on a xmas tree (I decorate mine with similar ones, I painted dozens of them), as lucky charms on cupboards etc and they age well!

They really do not have the precision of illuminated illustrations, they are more natural and “folkart-ish” if I may. The goal is to make them fast and painlessly to create cute objects displayed around the house.

As the weight for the three of them is quite light, I can ship in a padded enveloppe to pretty much any location 🙂 🤷‍♀️
