I had such a good time exploring different poses for this faerie woman! I don’t get enough time to play this way. I’ve grown very fond of her, but I would love to see her out in the world making mischief in someone else’s life.

Gregory Manchess’ versatile oil paintings have been widely awarded in illustration, showcased for countless books and magazines such as Time, Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, and National Geographic. He has painted numerous USPS stamps including the 2023 Snow Globes Christmas series and the March On Washington Forever Stamps. His illustrations are highlighted in the Coen Brothers movie, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and recently his mission patch designs accompanied the NASA astronauts to the International Space Station. He is the author, artist, and playwright of the novel, Above the Timberline. He lectures at universities across the country and teaches online at SmArter Art School. Gregory will be inducted into the NY Society’s Illustration Hall of Fame in September, 2024.
